Not just today, but everyday.
Some simple tips:
1) Use a

reusable water bottle. (Stainless steel is the best!)
2) When you go

recycle (your local grocery store may have a bin where you can deposit

your old grocery bags.)
4) When you're not using an electrical
appliance, off it and unplug it from the plug point.
5) Recycle as
much as you can.
6) Wait until you get a lot of dirty dishes to fill
up the dish washer and then wash. If you manually wash your dishes, do not
let water run when you're applying soap.
7) Try buying less packaged
products and if you are facilitating on different products, buy the product
that is recyclable so that it does not end up in a landfill.
8)
Carpool.
9) Buy products in bulk. If buying in bulk is too much, you
can buy something and split the product and cost in half with a neighbor or
a friend.
10) If there is sunlight outside, open the curtains and
turn off your lights.
11) Make a compost out of things like banana
peels or vegetable/fruit shavings. Then put it in your garden and watch
those flowers sprout.
12) Time your showers and try to save water.
